18th Century French side chair kit

The kit is made from metal alloy and is very easy to assemble.

5cm at its widest part

9cm high

4.5cm deep

Seat pad: 3cm rear x 3.5cm front x 3.5cm deep

It is a simple kit but one that looks rather beautiful when painted. Preferrably spray painted if using paints to avoid clumpy build up of paints. This chair would suit all manner of finishing depending on your theme. A cream and gilt would make it look elegant whilst a distressed grey finish would add a bit of scandinavian.

The seat pad is easily covered and should be sanded before covering.

The metal chair is fresh from its mould and so you will need to remove any small metal strands from the casting process. The underside of the chair reveals the underside of the pad so this would be lovely covered in a fine hessian or even a small pad to make it appear as if it has been upholstered using springs.
